Die Website von Umberto Cavenago bietet einen Streifzug durch die entscheidenden Phasen seiner künstlerischen Forschung und präsentiert eine Auswahl seiner Werke in einer genauen chronologischen Reihenfolge. Jedes Werk wird von Beschreibungen und Bildern begleitet, die nicht nur die verschiedenen Orte und Phasen der Realisierung veranschaulichen, sondern auch den konzeptionellen und kreativen Kontext, in dem das Werk Gestalt angenommen hat. Begleitet werden diese Bilder von Texten, die von dem Künstler nahestehenden Autoren und Kritikern verfasst wurden, von Personen, die seinen Weg geteilt haben und die persönliche und deutliche Interpretationen bieten. Diese Textbeiträge bereichern das Verständnis der Werke und machen die Komplexität und die Entwicklung des Denkens des Künstlers in den letzten Jahrzehnten deutlich.
